This week we will be practicing our speech sounds using Boom cards! These links don't require a login so you can just click an play. They should work on a phone, tablet or computer. These links will expire in 2 weeks so feel free to use them until then. Have your child say each word a few times before moving to the next page (I usually use between 3-5 times each word for preschoolers and 5-10 for kindergarten and up).
*Please see my Sound Production Tips post for help learning how to cue and correctly elicit each sound*
Feel free to play the games from last week, too! They are available for one more week.

Skill #3: Play!
Playing with your child is one of the best thing you can do in order to promote growth in ALL domains of child development! It promotes communication development, social and emotional growth, improved cognitive skills, better gross and fine motor skills, as well as improved adaptive/self-help skills. WOW! So much growth just by playing with your child. It can be simple and fun, and I recommend 1 or 2 15-minute sessions a day if possible, of undivided attention to playing with your child (no screens on, don't look at your phone, etc). Follow their lead! Here is a quick video and some AWESOME resources to check out to help guide you. This is seriously SO MUCH FUN! Each of your kiddos is amazing and I miss playing with them so much.

April 13th-18th homework pages
Here are the weekly words lists for my articulation students to work on at home. Pick the list that your student is working on. These words are similar, to what we worked on in our most recent Zoom sessions.
Say each word 10 times each day 5 days a week. If your child does not have much difficulty with saying each word 10 times, have them make a sentence about each word after saying the word 10 times. It works best to find a time each day to do speech for 5 minutes. Find something and stick with it! Consistency is key.
Please let me know if you have questions!
